Waitaki Waters Holiday Park is 12 minutes north of Oamaru, 3km down Kaik Road towards the ocean, just off State Highway 1. Distances to other centres are as follows:

20km north of Oamaru
65 km south of Timaru
125km north of Dunedin
230km south of Christchurch
200km east of Aoraki Mt Cook

It is a popular first night stop away from Christchurch, or a halfway point between Christchurch and Dunedin.

We can offer guests any assistance with their campervans if they have questions after picking them up in Christchurch.

Activities and Local Attractions

Waitaki Waters Holiday Park is less than 5 minutes from Riverstone Kitchen Restaurant (New Zealand Restaurant of the Year Winner 2010 and 2011), Waitaki Golf Club, convenience store, service station and Glenavy Hotel/Restaurant. A courtesy bus to and from the hotel is available by arrangement. Just ask our friendly staff and we will be happy to arrange this for you.
